The promise of AI lies in its potential to solve problems insurmountable for humans alone. It offers transformative capabilities in efficiency and scale, promising significant advancement, not just in automation of routine tasks, but also enhancing human decision-making and stimulating creativity. In healthcare, AI algorithms can diagnose disease at earlier stages than previously possible.  In finance, AI assesses risk, fraud detection, and personalises customer service, making operations more secure and customer-focused. The automotive industry employs AI to operate self-driving cars, enhancing safety and efficiency. In the realm of customer service, chatbots and virtual assistants use AI to provide quicker and more accurate responses, improving user experience. In the environmental sector, AI helps optimise energy consumption, contributing to conservation efforts.

Experience a new age of technology

Technology is changing and faster than ever before, the capabilities of artificial intelligence are now dramatically changing what is possible. The AI powered disruption that every industry is now experiencing creates new opportunities for companies of all sizes.

Letter to Investors

Dear Investor,

I am pleased to present to you the AI VentureFlows SEIS Fund. I believe it is one of the first to acknowledge the precipice of change that artificial intelligence (“AI”) stands upon and see the compelling investment opportunities in invention and innovation that are visibly changing our lives as we speak.

This Fund is the culmination of a long, dedicated career to AI and my lifelong enthusiasm for the benefits it can bring to mankind. I have always been singularly focused on helping the world benefit from the most intelligent technology to help us solve real-world problems, solve our most difficult challenges and provide us with amazing new abilities. This will surely come from innovative UK start-up businesses, advancing in the field of AI and changing their respective industries for the better.

The year was 1992 and while everyone was watching Reservoir Dogs and playing air guitar to Guns & Roses, I had started my studies of AI.  Back then AI was mostly just a topic of discussion in Hollywood movies and science fiction shows – and all took a dystopian view of AI with killer robots and human extinction events. But my passion for the subject, and balanced view of how the technology could benefit us all, have continued since those early days, as I have witnessed many new forms of the technology and gradual improvements in AI’s capability and utility.

My long-term exposure to AI companies and innovations, both in the UK and globally, will allow VentureFlows Limited to take a more strategic perspective, looking beyond the latest trends and seeing how the scaled application of these intelligent technologies will transform industries, and create new business models and opportunities for innovative companies to thrive in this brave new world.

Despite its 70 plus years of technical development, AI is still very much in its infancy, which means huge potential and opportunity for advancement and innovation across all layers and aspects of the architecture, both hardware and software. Similarly, the application of AI for all industries and functions is still only starting to take hold, with significant opportunity for new entrants with smart approaches to real-world problems. While the big tech firms chase immediate opportunities with the latest tech trend, there is still a massive opportunity for AI innovation as we look to move towards the moonshot of superintelligence capabilities.

I believe this AI VentureFlows SEIS Fund offers an excellent opportunity to invest tax efficiently in some of today’s most promising AI start-ups, which I work with in my role as academic founder, author, public speaker, and adviser to some of the world’s leading corporations.
